Needle Roller / Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearings

Composed of radial needle roller bearings and cylindrical roller thrust bearings, these bearings are designed without an inner ring but can be used in combination with an inner ring when the shaft cannot be hardened and ground. They can only support axial loads and locate the shaft axially in one direction. For short shafts and when the length change due to thermal expansion is relatively small, they can be mounted in a back-to-back configuration.
