Description
High hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability with good corrosion resistance. Ideal for precision bearings, valves, pumps, and high-load mechanical applications.
The main features of stainless steel balls include the following aspects:
1. Strong corrosion resistance
One of the biggest features of stainless steel balls is its excellent corrosion resistance. Since stainless steel contains a high proportion of chromium (usually at least 10.5%) in its chemical composition, this element can form a dense chromium oxide film on the surface of stainless steel, protecting it from oxygen and moisture, making stainless steel balls have good corrosion resistance in wet, acidic or alkaline environments.
2. High strength and wear resistance
Stainless steel balls have high hardness and strength and can withstand greater pressure and impact. In particular, heat-treated stainless steel balls show good wear resistance in machining, transmission, bearings and other fields, which can effectively reduce wear and increase the service life of equipment.
3. Good finish
The surface of stainless steel balls usually has a high finish, which makes it very suitable for many applications that require a low friction coefficient. Its smooth surface also helps to reduce damage to the equipment and is suitable for use in high-precision mechanical devices.
4. High temperature resistance
Stainless steel materials have good high temperature resistance and can maintain their mechanical properties and chemical stability under certain high temperature environments. Especially when working under high temperature conditions, some types of stainless steel can still maintain strong strength and corrosion resistance.
5. Anti-oxidation
Due to the chromium oxide film formed on the surface of the stainless steel ball, the stainless steel ball can effectively resist oxidation and avoid rust. This makes it an irreplaceable advantage in situations where the surface is required to be clean and free of rust.
6. Multiple specifications and sizes
Stainless steel balls have a variety of specifications and sizes and can be customized according to different needs. Its size ranges from a few millimeters to a few centimeters, and can be processed as needed.
